Dredge Economies examines the evolving relationship between sea-floor dredging and the estuary—and proposes a systematic change in dredge operations—a change that considers a range of emerging patterns and threats. Tetrapods form a large container for holding dredged sand. The mounds of dredged sand are topped with clean soil, then inoculated with native seedlings.
